Michelle Duval has been an associate veterinarian, proud to be serving the patients and clients of Timberlane Animal Hospital since June of 2018. Prior to her joining TAH, she taught middle school science for 5 years and has 36 years of clinical experience working in various practices in and around the Tallahassee area as an associate and a relief veterinarian. Her current interests include fear free small animal medicine, (special interest in felines) senior pet wellness and enjoyable longevity. When she is not at work, she is busy with her small farm in Monticello occupied by cats, dogs, chickens, honey bees, and her retired husband. They have successfully raised one son, who is obliged to come home occasionally to help with technology issues. Dr. Duval’s interests include reading, dog training, water color painting and astronomy. She practices the fear free vet visit and hopes to see you and yours soon for treats, compliments and cuddles.

She will be by their side ready for on demand belly rubs and chin scratches, or whatever they may need during that time. She is the clinic’s cat whisperer having three cats of her own; Worms, Jane Nutkin, and Bears. Gozer is her first dog who she rescued nearly 4 years ago when she was a pup. She also rescued an axolotl named Gwottle. During her spare time she loves to be creative whether that’s drawing outside, painting, or sewing.
Head Receptionist
I moved to Tallahassee in March of 2020 from Madison, WI with my boyfriend and our two cats; Cheza and Kitana. Since then our little family has grown; we have rescued; a hound mix named Opie, a bearded dragon, Redford, and a leopard gecko, Cup. I have been a vegan for ~15 years and love to cook and try new dishes and flavors. When I'm not at work obsessing over your babies you can find me lost in the woods with a book and a pair of hiking boots on. We love to camp, backpack, kayak, and explore wherever our feet take us. I look forward to meeting you and your companion(s).

If she's not spending her free time with fur babies then you'll find her enjoying the beach with her small family.
